Woodsfield After-School Program:
Ohio State University Extension in Monroe County, Ohio has operated an Extension Managed program since 1999 at the Woodsfield Elementary School. OSU Extension opened the doors to Monroe County’s only licensed after-school program that operates 3 to 6 p.m. on a daily basis. The program provides a nutritious snack, homework assistance, computer access, and educational and recreational activities to children in kindergarten through sixth grade from Woodsfield Elementary School and St. Sylvester’s Catholic School.
